I joined the recruiter startup program with Additional Resources two years ago after a career break, having decided that I no longer wanted the 9-5 commute into London. It was a risk on my part as I had no recruitment background but having been in business for the best part of 40 years, and having experience within various sectors and an overall good understanding of employers expectations, I decided to give it a go. A decision I have never regretted.
Right from the off, the help and encouragement I received from the support team was invaluable. The CRM system that has been bespoke written especially for their business is very user friendly and is a great central point to work from where your jobs, candidates and jobs boards are all in one place. They really have thought of everything with regards to this.
Once you had accepted a role to work on, the first task was to write an advert for the position. A recent upgrade now means that the adverts team at additional res do that for you! and they send over the relevant “Boolean Search Strings”, which quite honestly makes the search for CVs so simple.
If I ever have a query the lovely Holly, or Daniel are always quick to respond to me and go out of their way to help.
